Enter the reserve for your first game drive. Spot herds of elephants, buffalo, giraffes, bushbuck, warthogs, and, if lucky, the rare Sable Antelope — found only in this part of Kenya.
Your driver-guide will share insights about the flora and fauna of this coastal ecosystem.

Guided Nature Walk to Sheldrick Falls
Stretch your legs on a guided 1-hour walk through lush forest trails to the spectacular Sheldrick Waterfall — a 25-meter natural cascade surrounded by greenery.
Enjoy a short rest and take photos by the waterfall before walking back to your vehicle.

Lunch at Shimba Hills Lodge
Drive to the Shimba Hills Lodge, a tranquil, treehouse-style retreat overlooking a waterhole often visited by elephants.
Enjoy a delicious lunch while watching wildlife in the distance and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere.

Afternoon Game Drive & Scenic Viewpoint
After lunch, enjoy another game drive and stop at one of the scenic viewpoints such as Marere Viewpoint or Elephant Hill, offering breathtaking views of the coastal plains and the Indian Ocean.

Depart Shimba Hills
Leave the park and drive back through the countryside, descending from the hills toward the coast.

Return to Your Hotel
Arrive at your hotel in Diani or Mombasa, relaxed after a refreshing day in nature.
